Purpose: Restyle the existing Visual Storage Intelligence (VSI) application for Clear Technologies.

Audience: Storage Area Network (SAN) Managers & Technologists.

Development Tools: Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, Notepad++, Firebug & MS Visual Studio.

Notes: The corporate mandate for the project was to enhance the presentation layer of the existing application. My task and challenge was to improve the product for marketability while still maintaining the existing stylistic theme that had already been established.

For example, the company logo would remain unchanged, basic navigation and other page elements could not be altered and the overall color theme of the application would remain predominately light blue.

My approach was to use shadowing, border contours, increased contrast and similar CSS to give the application more dimension. The application is comprised of approximately 50 individual page-types and each page was styled accordingly.
