Notes: A portrait of my wife, Michelle. I shot a series of photographs and used this composition as my primary reference for the illustration. This piece represents my favorite colored pencil rendering.

The knit sweater is the most difficult fabric I've ever replicated.

Her left hand may be the single most successful element I've ever produced - it is simply perfect.
